Hong Kong scratchings
Race 8 The Hong Kong Cup (Group 1)
The Senior Veterinary Surgeon advised RED PEPPER had an infection in its left front leg and in his opinion is not suitable to race. The horse has accordingly been withdrawn by the Stewards.
Race 3 The Hong Kong Sprint (Group 1)
MALHUB has been examined at the track this morning by the Club's Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Dr Watkins and the Club's Senior Veterinary Officer, Dr Stewart. They have advised that the horse looks well in itself, however, an examination of the horse's blood has revealed that the muscle enzymes have not come down sufficiently for the horse to perform as it should in a race such as this.
After receiving this advice the Stewards decided MALHUB be withdrawn. Accordingly the horse was taken out and THUNDER, the Standby Declared Starter promoted into the field.

Bloody hell, angry slut, what a fortune teller you've got! Now we know what the number 2 means as well since you've got exactly two winners
The divvy for Olympic Express is $490 and for Precision $658. I sure hope you had some real money on these two horses!
What's so remarkable about these horses is that they finished 1st and 2nd in last year's Derby. In the past, most Derby winners would have a terrible year after the race. Olympic Express and Precision have bucked the trend. Are we witnessing better imports to HK?

Yes indeed, well done Angry Slut, perhaps you won't be so angry after scooping the prize here, although the sound of an angry slut does sound rather appealing in certain circumstances, or perhaps it's just the slut bit I like the sound of???

Good fun for sure Harry ! I'm a dopey bitch for not getting my numbers in on time for Wednesday. Went to post them and realised it was past cut-off time. So banged em in early for today to avoid disappointment. Just shows you - better to be born lucky than good-looking! I'll be getting mighty drunk again tonight and who knows what I'll end up draggin home? Doubt there will be a great deal of Precision in that choice...
