Thought I'd introduce myself in my first post in the forum. My name is Susie... I'm a 17yo racing fan from New York, but I avidly follow racing around the world, especially Japan. My namesake for the forum is one of my all-time favorite horses. Some of my other favorite Japanese horses are To The Victory, Agnes World, Kurofune, Narita Brian, Biwa Hayahide, Jungle Pocket, Manhattan Cafe, and Black Hawk. I also love Tabasco Cat and, of course, Sunday Silence.
I'm looking for information on a colt named Nike Ahead... he's a three-year-old who broke his maiden in Japan last fall. Also, I read the Kurofune was experiencing some sort of trouble at stud, but couldn't figure out what it was. If you could fill me in on the details, I'd really appreciate it! Also, any updates on Sunday Silence's condition?
Thank you so much!

Sunday Break,
Nike Ahead has had 8 starts for 2 wins and 4 seconds and last ran on 9th June finishing 6th over 1600m in a 18 horse field. He is by Boston Harbor out of Bay Barrister.
Kurofune had an accident with his mating appendage in his first week at stud so he is resting his equipment and I am not sure when or if he has already resumed work.
Sunday Silence was also out of action for a few weeks as he injured his leg or hindquarters(not sure which) in his stall.
There is an australian website, www.racenet.com.au (http://www.racenet.com.au)
Log on and on the left hand side scroll down the page until you find New Horse Racing community.
This will take you to the forum. Just navigate through general topics and there is a posting last week by helenm who recently visited the stud farm where SS is living......Good luck and if you need more just ask

Thank you so much for the information. What level of races has Nike Ahead been running at?
