Hi

I am looking for information on stablehands in your country. I am trying to put together a stablehand assosiation in australia to offer support for our most important workers, the ones that look after our horses every day ( for little recognition ). Stablehands are the eyes and ears of the trainers and the voice of the horses in their care.

I am trying to collect info form different parts of the world on the following:

average pay structure for stablehands and track riders(what award they are under if any)
conditions
recognition awards (ie stablehands awards annually and their prize values)
skills education and career advice available
how staff are recruited
staff shortages and in what areas
associations
licensing (registration)
immigration visas available
