Hi there Tiara..so glad you could join us here. Make sure that you check out the USA section at the bottom of the page...( that old seabiscuit codger needs a good talking to!) There is also a links index right at the bottom and some good suggestions under international racing ( lets travel aroundabit) Oh...and tell your friends where we are!
here is a picture of Sunday Silence jumping out of the gates

Easy Goer appreciation page...a good read. On this page you will also get a comparison between Easy Goer and Sunday Silence.

Okay, so Sunday Silence beat Easy Goer 3 out of 4 times. If you are a numbers person, that statistic speaks for itself. But I happen to believe that numbers don't always tell the whole story, so here is a point by point summary of why I believe that Easy Goer was the better horse. I have divided it into two sections: their four meetings and all their other races. Let's start with the rivalry itself.
THE RIVALRY
Kentucky Derby: Sunday Silence won this one fair and square. Not only that, he practically ran sideways and still won! He was the best horse in the race. Easy Goer hated the track and it was a testament to his greatness that he even finished second, barely nosing out his less-heralded stablemate Awe Inspiring. This was undoubtedly Easy's worst performance ever.
This one is in Japanese..but you can still have a play...you never know where it might take you.

If you would like to travel around a bit more...try this site for some clues...it is very comprehensive and covers world racing. Try the Japanese sites.

Carrot Lunch photo service...looks like you can email for pictures of Sunday Silence or any other Japanese horse...all in japanese/ english mix...so good luck with that one.

This weekend in Japan the G2, Aoba Sho, on Saturday has 18 runners in this derby trial at Tokyo and SS has two sons running while son of SS Fuji Kiseki has one.
Having said that I do not think the winner will come from any of them.
On Sunday the Tenno Sho( Spring Emperors Cup) over 3200m at Kyoto has 11 runners with four by SS and his best chance is Manhattan Cafe but I believe Narita Top Road can win from Jungle Pocket with MC third.
In the Saturday race I like Symboli Kris S. from Bold Brian and a roughie Tokai Arrow to run third.

Look the USA always does it best. There is a USA website that has photos up which you can buy in all shapes and sizes. They have some of Sunday Silence alone and some with Easy Goer.
The website is www.thoroughbredmemories.com (http://www.thoroughbredmemories.com)
It has other lots of other USA champions of the past too. Something the USA of course can boast (unlike one or two other places which shall remain nameless).
