Korean Racing Bet Limit

Hi, does anybody know what the maximum bet size is we can bet on Korean Horse Racing. Also I'd like to do it using an account, are there limits on the account betting also?

Would be highly appreciated to hear from you if you know.

The KRA operates five betting type systems, win, place, quinella, exacta, and quinella place.

The minimum betting amount is 100 Korean won, and the maximum betting amount per single bet is limited to 100,000 Korean won.

Betting tickets are distributed by 3,426 betting terminals at on and off-course and these terminals are controlled by the Pari-Mutuel Betting Control Center at Seoul Racecourse.

The dividends are paid to the successful bettors after the taxes and commissions are deducted.

Account Betting

Racing fans may open a betting account provided by the KRA. This is a very easy and convenient way of enjoying betting, allows bettors to deposit, place bet and receive dividends without cash transactions.

Advanced information technology has given racing fans a variety of betting means through telephone, internet, mobile phone, and PDA in the comfort of their home.

The KRA has been developing SAAT(Screen Account Access Terminal), CRT(Cathode Ray Tube System), ARS(Audio Response System) and MBS(Mobile Betting Service) solutions and these were launched in October 2004.
Online racing information has been provided since December 1997, and the internet betting service will also be introduced after close consultation with the government.
