THE MJC are pulling out all stocks to try and make the Macau Derby an "event" this year.
As well as securing Dettori, Payne, and one more big name yet to be announced, they will also hold a Calcutta.
It is to be held on Saturday April 6, the night before the Derby.
Tickets $120 a head, or table of 12 $1200. That includes buffet meal, a couple of bottles of wine, a few beers. Beers $10 on the night.
They are subsidising costs to promote interest in the night.
I wonder how it will go?
