Was just wondering what you folks thought about a couple of horses that got up to win their second race in a row recently and paid surprisingly good money
e.g. Fruitful Trip paid $20 to win on Saturday
Cyber Wisdom paid $17 on Wednesday
I think there might have been another similar priced one recently but its name escapes me.
I'm wondering why the punters seem to stay away from these horses, as I always like to look at last start winners when doing the form?

Cyber Wisdom was stepping up in distance where he failed the previous start to winning while Fruitful Trip was stepping out onto the All Weather Track with a record that prefers racing on grass.
Also, horses who win a race often get bumped up to the next (higher) class. Unless they are very well graded, are progressive types or have found a new lease of life following a stable change etc, they will find themselves "at their mark" so to speak and against superior opposition
Hope this helps
