resigned, in tears, on national TV and then retracted 2 or 3 hours later when persuaded to do so by his party??
why ??? because the efforts by him / his party, across several decades, to promote the economic / bureaucratic rise of the indeginous people failed spectacularly.
same happened just a few years ago, and afaik, was reported by only one major news organisation.
