Comments
Golden Champagne - last run was good, will beef the tierce if on board
Light of Asia - If u like Tequila, he must stand a chance
Winning Anabaa - i am drawn towards him becos he gallops quite maturely
I'm a Star - unless Don is pulling a fast one, winning anabaa should be better, but keep this guy for tierces
Tequila- Able to run handy will give him a good chance
Spectroflight- i noted that he looked great last time out, preference for him
Taj - The switch to Du Plessis improve his chances
Good Prospect- a beaten horse, tiny chance
Injurious- Hard to see him pull off fluke again, but keep him for tierces
Oliuto- He has a small chance to make the board

Potential Winners
Light of Asia
Winning Anabaa
Tequila
Spectroflight
Taj

Race 1 Verdict
07)Spectroflight
08)Taj
03)Winning Anabaa
02)Light of Asia
06)Tequila

I am gunning for Spectroflight. If he can jump to 1600 last time out, he must be ready. Taj must be respected with Du Plessis.
Winning Anabaa i am a bit worried. Light of Asia seldom run well at top weight. Tequila's last effort cannot be over hyped.

Comments
Ipanema Dancer - The claim and barrier makes him a better chance
Avalanche- Eddie must figure him out to perform well
Natural Act - Should not pay too much attention
Ocean Princess- take note of tote. Hes not really spectacular though
Cambrian Knight- Can be a better horse on turf, but i doubt he stays
Just a Flash- form doubt. has ability
Kiangora-if hes serious, he should be thereabouts
Lord Arena- he ran a good race, some chance here
Pacific Crown- Good barrier, right distance, good jockey..i like. Should be an improved horse
Lims Express- he can surprise here

Potential Winners
Ipanema Dancer
Avalanche
Just a Flash
Kiangora
Lord Arena
Pacific Crown
Lims Express

Race 2 Verdict
06)Just a Flash
13)Pacific Crown
12)Lord Arena
01)Ipanema Dancer
16)Lims Express

I am gonna oppose Ipanema Dancer. He prob reached his limits, and the up in weight lessen his winning chance.
Just a Flash is a bit risky for first up, but he has done it before. Pacific Crown, after a brief spell is returning to form
Lord Arena can pip Ipanema dancer. Lims Express can run well with light weight.
Avalanche has failed before. Kiangora ran in a weaker field

Comments
Eastwind- Ran in better company.
Lims Classic- Has good barrier. Needs to reproduce run to win
South China- Place chance
Southern Sunline- small place chance
Prince Arena- 1400 is not certain
Gain Prosperity- running on last start, worth a second dose
Teltryst-didnt think much of him previously. wide barrier
Montoya- if hes class 1, he should be thereabouts
Blaze the Trail-1400 is not ideal for him, minors at best
Diamond Kingdom- he must be a dark horse chance, but he aint that good to win
Ubolehla- class 5 ..very tough

Potential Winners
East wind
Lims Classic
Prince Arena
Gain Prosperity
Teltryst
Montoya

Race 3 Verdict
10)Montoya
02)Lims Classic
07)Gain Properity
05)Prince Arena
01)East Wind

Very tough to call. Montoya clocked a good time for 1200m, but being a young horse, its bit risky. Can he sadlle up?
Lims Classic barrier is too good not to go. hes 3+ lengths 7th to Yara Yara means he has the cap to run well here.
Gain properity should continue running good races. Prince Arena looks green last time, he may lose out here.
However much i like East wind, the barrier and the top weight goes against him

Comments
Always An Angel- ex-charles horse, beat current charles horse? no way, place a best
Angel of Harmony- on current form and the way he won last time, yes
Bon Amie- only a couple can flash home, hes one of them
Chief Emperor- if hes fit, he should be thereabouts
Gunong Mas- if he beat only Grand Canyon, he cant win this
Pacific Prince- he has to be the one to beat
Poetic Duke- hes the one i least like
Que Expression- he cant be considered a chance, but juicy place
Storm Racer- never liked him, he will be exposed in this race to be just average
Yorick- On best form, he can be considered a value bet
Ninety Five Emperor- if hes not scratched, i still think he hasnt clock a 1m 11flat to consider a chance

Potential Winners
Angel of Harmony
Bon Amie
Chief Emperor
Pacific Prince
Yorick
Storm Racer

Race 4 Verdict
06)Pacific Prince
03)Bon Amie
04)Chief Emperor
10)Yorick
02)Angel of Harmony

Based on set weights and timing,Pacific Prince has done it before. If i expect Chief Emperor to challenge him, then i expect Bon Amie to fly
home to pip Chief Emperor. On Consistency, Chief Emperor should pip Yorick. Angel of Harmony only concern is the weight.

Comments
Mayos Music- 58.5 and r lim, hard to like
Promise Keeper- with geroudis, he must have a chance
Eros- he is the one to beat
Ideal Express-although hes not 1400 specialist, hes weight, barrier and recent form suggest he can do it
Keeneland- too wide barrier, must be crazy to try
Titan Happiness-i would say a good ground wont suit him
Magic Edge- i gather he would try.place chance
Sloane Street-u need to be keen to win with wide barrier. Hes a risk
Superior Service- good barrier, even sivan stands chance of a place
Flawless Diamond- lost to eros already
Magic Crown- lost to Angel of Joy, hard
Angel of Joy- kk loh, slim chance
Grand Canyon- will definitely try, but i dont think he can beat eros

Potential Winners
Promise Keeper
Eros
Ideal Express
Titan Happiness
Magic Edge
Flawless Diamond
Grand Canyon

Race 5 Verdict
03)Eros
02)Promise Keeper
06)Titan Happiness
14)Grand Canyon
04)Ideal Express

Very difficult race to call. I go for class. Eros should be hard to beat. Promise Keeper can storm home.
Grand Canyon if better than Angel of Joy can run close. Titan Happiness should be safer than Grand Canyon with such a low weight
Ideal express will be very juicy if he runs a board. Magic Edge should be considered for tierces.

Race 6 Verdict
01)Blizz Bless
10)Smart Bet
08)Moon Shadow
13)Tytola
06)Lead to Victory

Blizz Bless to win this because of his superb form. Smart Bet will be pushed hard.
Moon Shadow should be there again. I think both Tytola and Lead to Victory can run better this time round.
Marco boy? well i take a risk on him. As for the malaysian runners. hard to commend..but they generally not that superb.

Ocean Butterfly- great form, seem to appreciate distance
Laazim- good rider to have, can stay
Fightin Man- he can stay, but hard to win

Empryean- small chance
Ocean Wealth- with 50kg , he just might snook the race

14)Ocean Wealth

Ocean Butterfly looks the safest and more likely. Bedouin should run well.Laazim at his best can challenge.
Fightin Man will pay around $50. Ocean Wealth is worth a small bet to lead all the way. Gingko Fire is too tricky.

I'll go with Smart Bet and Thunderaway in the big $1,000,000 race, Firehouse my sentimental favourite.;) ;)

Doleuze is on Thunderaway which won't hurt.

Good luck to all punters.

I see Marwing has stolen the mount on 95 Emperor, he better win!

I would say COME SEE YOU all the way from Hong Kong by IVAN ALLEN.First time here i must have the same feeling as him driving in a unlimited speed track in GERMANY-autobahn when you are so used to a right hand drive car but now a left hand drive car with so many high performance horses runing just beside. He would probablely loose on this disadvantage as not one has from HK has won in KRANJI though he ran very well in HK.

Dear Kelly:-

The margin might just be a mere nose, but it was enough to make the small Hong Kong contingent from shouting themselves hoarse when their hero Come See You captured the S$ 1 million Singapore Classic at Kranji.

Come See You, ridden a marvelous race by jockey Weichong Marwing, just held on to nose out Moon Shadow, with the favourite Smart Bet third, half a length further back in the international Group 3 race over 1800m.

Marwing raced Come See You handy for most of the way, hit the front 200m out and kicked. The grey Moon Shadow lunged at him at the post but too late.

Said winning trainer Ivan Allan, "I'm very happy to win for Hong Kong. It was very exciting and Marwing rode a great race. He timed his run to perfection."

Allan added that he wasn't sure if Come See You had prevailed from where he was.

"It was heads up, heads down," he said.

Marwing sighed in great relief as he said it was a close affair. His mount had turned about five wide. He explained, "He raced a little bit awkward. It was the first time he's racing left-handed. In Hong Kong, he raced right-handed."

"In morning trackwork he was okay because he went slow. It's not the same during the race. In racing, you cannot control."
"I was confident, but I held on but you never know. I thought I did enough to hold on, and was happy from where I was on settling down."

"I got to thank that man," he added, pointing to Allan.
Winning owner Patrick Wang went ballistic at the nail-biting finish. He said: "Very good. The trainer and his team put in a lot of effort. I'm very happy. It was very exciting. It was tense. It looked like a photo-finish but the jockey did a very good job."
