With the Spring carnival all but over in Melbourne, I have turned my punting attentions to HK. I have been following things reasonably closely, but have only had a couple of interests thus far all season. However, that is about to change. I have just stocked up the WillHill and Read accounts and wouldn't mind a few winners early on. Anyone able to steer me in the right direction tonight ?
I note that the very expensive purchase Bearcat makes his debut in the opener. Obviously a watching rather than a betting proposition. What's the mail on him ?

I also notice another interesting debutant in the first race tonight - Bullshot. David Raphael will have to be very, very careful !

yeah...he sure talks plenty of it!!! as for backing a winner, it's awfully tough in HK these days. I'm no help I'm sorry.

jrb , i`ve seen both of these at the trials.
Bearcat trialed twice & went super both times but Bullshot had 3 trials & looked legless in all...hope it helps ?

Bearcat...I havnt seen him but I wonder if he is anything like his full brother Catbird? I wonder how much credence the chinese punters will place on his breeding...do you think that they would ever have heard of Catbird?
It will be very intersting to see how he goes tonight.
